Itinerary

9:30 AM   Welcome Meet the staff of 100% Patagonia Slow Travel. Transfer by private van from Villa Cerro Castillo to the inland route that crosses the lake region, heading towards the Cultural Gathering. The host is a grandson of pioneers who, with his music and stories, immerses you in the regional culture and traditions. Welcome and safety briefing.

11:00 hrs Hiking Through native forests of Ñire, Lenga, and Coihue trees, and along streams, lies the natural habitat of the Huemul deer and the culpeo fox. During the hike, it's possible to spot endemic birds such as the Magellanic woodpecker and the tucuquere (owl), and the Andean condor may also be seen in flight. Duration: 1 to 2 hours. Easy difficulty.

2:00 PM  Cultural Gathering – Campfire and Music The host awaits you by the campfire to share his music, history, mate, and fried cakes. Then, enjoy a country lunch or a Patagonian barbecue.

5:00 PM   Salto del Río Ibáñez and Costanera Lago General Carrera   Farewell and continuation of the journey to Salto del Río Ibáñez, a must-see spot in the region. Time for contemplation, photography, and connecting with this powerful waterfall. Then, a visit to the wetland located on the waterfront of Río Ibáñez, facing General Carrera Lake. A visit to a local artisan workshop.

7:00 PM   Tasting of regional liqueurs  In the afternoon, enjoy a break to sample artisanal liqueurs and infusions paired with a selection of local products.
